Description
I was watching Vikings (tv-series) and I think it was interesting that the vikings were riding horse breeds that weren't no way available to them at that time. So I decided to do a concept of my own viking horse from really old breed, the Norwegian Fjord horse and adding a bit fantasy to it's design! I kinda wan't to design a rider for this too and try other Nordic horse breeds, like Icelandic horse, Swedish draft horse and Finn horse.
Animals are just so much fun to draw and I love studying their anatomy! u_u ♥♥

Love this colour in any horse. In Fjords it's called "gra" isn't it? In other breeds it's called grulla or grullo. Black diluted by the Dun gene. Love this piece.
